Daniel B. Portugal is Professor at the School of Design of the State University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and leader of the Demon Lab. He holds a PhD in Media Studies from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, including a research internship at Nottingham Trent University, UK. He has been a guest researcher at the Department of Arts and Cultural Studies at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark.
